Accommodation on the
Islands
Despite its small size, Malta has a fine
selection of hotels which cater to the needs of Conferences
and Incentives. In fact there are no fewer than 20 four and
five star establishments to choose from, varying in design from
the elegance of the long established classic style to the luxurious
and ultra modern. These often belong to respected worldwide
groups and subsequently are to the highest international standards
of service and comfort.
For group and conference bookings there are excellent rates
available which are very competitive with other European centres. The
variety of accommodation can range from double rooms through
to suites and even luxury chalets depending on the hotel chosen.
Bookings can usually be made on-line. Being an island location,
the majority of these hotels have idyllic coastal locations
and rooms with balconies and superb sea views.
Room facilities are designed to cater to every need of the modern
international traveller, with TV, air conditioning, fax/PC connections,
mini-bar, direct-dial telephone, trouser press and room-service
being just some of the requisites.
The competitive nature of the resort industry on the Maltese
Islands means the visitor can expect an excellent selection
of amenities at their hotel. Great attention is made to landscaping
of pools and sunbathing areas, normally with a wide choice of
theme restaurants and bars. Other facilities on offer include
health and fitness with gyms, sauna, massage and jacuzzi services.
Most of the Conferences and Incentives hotels have their own
shopping areas within their complex for souvenirs, jewellery,
hairdressing etc.
One of the great advantages of Malta's small dimensions is that
travelling distances are short. This means that airport transit
times are minimal and that places of interest on the Islands
are easily reached. All hotels can arrange any transportation
requirements for conference and incentives delegates or individuals,
whether coaches, minibus, car or limousine hire.
The naturally friendly nature of the Maltese people means that
high standards of personal service can be expected at the hotels,
especially for conference and incentive groups. Visiting groups
and their delegates can be assured that no effort will be spared
to make their visit thoroughly enjoyable quality time, combining
with the unique charm that is special to the Maltese Islands. |
