Internet

Internet was introduced on a commercial scale in Malta in late 1995. The
number of Internet service providers, as well as subscribers has increased
dramatically from the early days. Previously Internet was being used primarily
by the University of Malta and the Maltese Government on a restricted basis.
There are various Internet Cafes to be found today.
